Lila Kim and her team bring a spark of creativity and enthusiasm to their projects, delivering key assets and bright ideas that can set the stage for engaging campaigns. When communication is on point, their professionalism shines through. However, there have been multiple instances where delays in feedback and incomplete materials led to stress and missed opportunities for optimal execution. Prospective collaborators would benefit from establishing clear timelines and regular check-ins to ensure that the creative vision matches the organizational support necessary for a smooth campaign.

Secret LA Sip & Stroll
Working with Lila Kim and the ROW DTLA team on the Secret LA Sip & Stroll gig was a generally positive experience. They were very prompt in providing the essential assets like the co-branding logo and legal details for the coupon terms, as well as the printed materials required. Their enthusiasm and creativity shone through during the tour planning, and their professionalism was evident in the way they managed their part of the campaign. That said, there were a few moments when clearer communication regarding live tour specifics could have elevated the experience even further. With minor tweaks in real-time coordination and a bit more thorough briefing at the outset, future collaborations could easily be a 5-star event. Nonetheless, I appreciated their dedication and solid execution of the project.

Secret Password Taco Pop-Up
Working with Lila Kim on the ROW DTLA project was a nightmare. Despite selecting the Standard Package, they demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and organization. Lila consistently missed deadlines for providing essential ingredients and marketing materials, and the promised daily passwords and QR code infrastructure were either incomplete or delivered with significant delays. This left me scrambling on the ground, unable to execute the taco pop-up as designed, resulting in customer confusion and lost sales. Furthermore, Lila’s communication was virtually non-existent when problems arose; there was no timely feedback or support during critical moments. The enthusiasm and creativity I expected were nowhere to be found, and their overall lack of thoroughness made the experience frustrating and unmanageable. I am forced to give a 1-star review based on the inefficient management and disorganized approach that jeopardized the success of the campaign.

Secret Taco Passport Takeover
I was excited for the Secret Taco Passport Takeover with ROW DTLA, but the lack of preparedness and timely communication severely dampened the experience. Lila was often late with essential marketing assets, and key information like the promotional budget and prize inventory commitment were left ambiguous until the last minute. This made it extremely challenging to secure proper materials and coordinate with taco vendors efficiently, ultimately compromising the event setup and execution. While the concept was creative, the overall execution suffered from a lack of thorough planning and professionalism. The event documentation received was sporadic and incomplete, and I found myself scrambling to meet the 48-hour report deadline. I believe that with clearer timelines and better organization, future collaborations could be more successful, but based on this experience, I feel a 2-star review is warranted.

Night-Glow Street Projection Takeover
I worked with Lila Kim on the ROW DTLA campaign, and while the project was executed as planned, there were a few hiccups along the way that led to a 3-star experience. The initial creative brief and timeline were somewhat clear, but repeated delays in creative approvals made the pre-launch phase unnecessarily stressful. It felt like the enthusiasm to push innovative ideas was there, but the overall coordination and thoroughness were a bit lacking. During execution, I did my part with the nightly checks and system logs, but communication gaps meant that I sometimes had to guess on the intended direction for minor adjustments. While Lila maintained a generally professional demeanor, the occasional tardiness and limited feedback led to missed opportunities for optimizing the visual impact of the projection. I hope that with a bit more streamlined coordination in the future, work with this team can reach a higher standard.
