Calabama’s campaigns showcase creativity and enthusiasm, boasting innovative concepts like the mural muffin takeovers and secret taco pop-ups that capture a unique brand spirit. The team is clear about their creative vision and committed to engaging campaigns. However, prospective collaborators might want to note that communication and logistical coordination have room for improvement, as delays in supply of materials, last-minute changes, and inconsistent updates have occasionally impacted smooth execution. With a more structured planning and timely feedback approach, future projects could hit an even higher mark.

Mural Muffin Takeover
Working with Calabama on the Mural Muffin Takeover was a mixed experience. While they provided a clear vision for their campaign and were enthusiastic about integrating both the mural and pastry elements, there were some challenges. Communication during the early stages was less timely than expected, and we encountered delays in receiving the necessary graphic guidelines and high-resolution logo files. This made it difficult to perfectly align the mural aesthetics with the brand's intended look. In addition, though their creative concept had potential, the overall coordination fell a bit short in ensuring a seamless launch of the limited-edition pastry and QR code installation. As a result, the project required extra time to reconcile discrepancies between their campaign objectives and the deliverables. While Calabama showed commitment throughout the process, the lack of thoroughness in some key logistical areas ultimately earned this 3-star review.

Secret Password Taco Pop-Up
Lucia Rivera’s management of the Calabama campaign left a lot to be desired. While the concept of featuring a secret password taco pop-up was creative, the overall coordination fell short. Key materials like the detailed ingredient description and timely provision of necessary marketing assets were either late or incomplete, making the execution phase a constant scramble. Daily passwords were provided sporadically, and the promised supply of the featured ingredient was borderline, which impacted the smooth operation of the stand. Additionally, communications lagged significantly, and comprehensive feedback was lacking throughout the week. Although there was some enthusiasm on their part, the overall lack of thoroughness and professionalism led to a stressful and disjointed campaign. Ultimately, this inconsistency in adhering to the agreed-upon scope and deliverables earned a 2-star review from my end.

Secret Taco Passport Takeover
I worked with Lucia Rivera for the Secret Taco Passport Takeover promoting Calabama. While her enthusiasm and creative vision were apparent from the start, there were some hurdles with communication and logistics. Key deliverables like the custom artwork and passport materials were sometimes subject to last-minute changes, which led to delays in vendor coordination and event setup. Timeliness was an issue, as some deadlines slipped, impacting the smooth flow of the event. Professionalism was a mixed bag; Lucia showed good energy and initiative, but a more thorough and well-organized approach would have made the promotion run much more seamlessly. Though the overall concept held promise, the execution needed tighter management, especially concerning daily event logs and vendor communications. I believe with a bit more planning and a structured communication strategy, future projects could hit a higher mark. Overall, a 3-star experience.
