Planet Fitness and their brand manager left much to be desired during the Commuter Level-Up Pop-Up event. Despite having a clear scope, critical pre-event details such as the digital overlay asset and scratch card verification were mishandled. Permits weren't secured in a timely manner, causing an immediate scramble that threw off the entire setup. Communication was sporadic and unprofessional, and the lack of enthusiasm and creativity on their part made it hard for me to confidently represent their brand. Overall, the entire process was a headache—from the haphazard pre-checks to the mismanaged on-site coordination, it was clear that the client had little regard for thoroughness or professionalism. Based on this experience, I'm unfortunately giving a 1-star review. I expected much better from a brand of this stature, and the lack of planning and support was unacceptable.

Working with Planet Fitness on their promotional campaign was a largely positive experience. They were very timely and professional, providing all the necessary materials and clear instructions well ahead of schedule. Their brand manager showed great enthusiasm and a commitment to quality that made coordinating the Friday projection events a breeze. That said, there were a couple of moments when the creative direction wasn’t fully aligned, leading to minor delays in decision-making. While these issues were quickly addressed, they did impact the overall flow of the project slightly, which is why I felt a 4-star rating was fair. Overall, I appreciated their transparent communication and thorough follow-up during the campaign.

Working with Planet Fitness on the Neon Mirror Selfie Takeover turned out to be a challenging experience. From the outset, communication was notably delayed; I waited much longer than expected for the high-resolution logo and landing page details, which meant I had to guess on several key creative components. The lack of timeliness led to rushed setups and less-than-thorough execution of the on-site activations, which ultimately impacted the capture of daily engagement metrics. Furthermore, while the idea of a neon mirror activation carried great potential, the overall planning and proactive support from their brand management team were lacking. There was minimal enthusiasm when it came to finalizing activation locations and giveaway materials, which left us scrambling to fill in the gaps. Overall, this experience fell short in creativity and professionalism, and I feel that the level of commitment was not up to the standard needed for an event of this scale.
